CHICAGO, Ill. - May 20, 2017 — Wobbly tables are not only a nuisance in restaurants, but are also detrimental to the guest experience with direct and indirect costly consequences. That’s why FLAT Tech, the innovators behind award-winning self-stabilizing FLAT® table bases, have created FLAT Equalizers®. FLAT Equalizers stabilize an operator’s existing tables on uneven surfaces, providing cost-effective solutions to the age-old problem of wobbly tables.
At the annual National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, May 20-23, FLAT (located at booth 3582) will showcase the capabilities of FLAT Equalizers with live demonstrations of their groundbreaking new product.
Visitors will see how they can stabilize their existing tables by replacing their tables’ existing feet with FLAT Equalizers. Equalizers are installed in seconds – without tools – and stabilize the table on uneven surfaces following a gentle press on the tabletop. FLAT will also demonstrate how the hydraulic mechanisms located within the Equalizers allow the user to perfectly align multiple tabletops when tables are pushed together, creating a smooth, even surface for diners.
Equalizers are available with a variety of thread sizes to fit almost any table with screw-in feet. Users simply unscrew their table’s existing feet, and replace them with Equalizers.
From a fine dining establishment to a casual pub, FLAT Equalizers can be added to most table bases. The product was expertly crafted to not only provide innovative solutions, but it also exceeds international standards (BS EN581-1:2006 & BS EN581-3:2017) for safety, strength, stability and durability.

"The annual National Restaurant Association Show is always a great opportunity to showcase our products and services to fellow hospitality industry leaders," said Mike Drake, president of FLAT Tech Inc. "This year is especially exciting for us as we introduce our new product which operators with existing tables have been asking for, for many years. Equalizers give restaurant owners and operators a piece of technology that saves them time and money, and ultimately improves the overall customer experience."
National Restaurant Association attendees are encouraged to stop by FLAT's booth #3582 for product demonstrations and to learn more about their revolutionary products and technology. Restaurant owners and operators will get a first look at the many benefits of having FLAT Equalizers for their tables in order to create a positive dining experience for customers.

About FLAT Technologies
FLAT Tech Inc., based in Chicago, is the U.S. arm of FLAT Pty Ltd with global headquarters in Sydney, Australia. The company has invented, patented, manufactured and commercialized hydraulic technologies with stabilization and alignment capabilities. This technology has been developed for the hospitality industry and is integrated into a range of FLAT® table bases, all of which automatically stabilize and allow users to perfectly align multiple tabletops. The technology also inspired FLAT Equalizers. Launched in May 2017, Equalizers replace the feet found on existing tables and stabilize them with a press on the table top. They too enable table leveling.
