Interbuild Integrates FLAT® Technology into its ‘Jazz’ and ‘Blues’ Range of Wooden Tables – Providing Stable Dining Platforms for the World.
SYDNEY, JULY 2016 – Leading manufacturer of wooden tops and tables Interbuild Holding Ltd and multi-award winning FLAT Technology are delighted to announce a strategic collaboration resulting in the release of 2 new wooden self-stabilising tables. Under a licencing agreement, Interbuild is integrating FLAT’s patented hydraulic stabilisation technology into its soon-to-be-released ‘Jazz’ (pictured) and ‘Blues’ dining tables. The alliance also allows for the 2 companies to combine their offerings, providing a full table solution (Interbuild table tops and FLAT®table bases) to their customers.
With over 20 years’ experience, Interbuild’s unrivalled design and manufacturing prowess coupled with FLAT’s multi-award winning hydraulic stabilisation technology has resulted in 2 unique table designs which will be unveiled at the upcoming Furniture China exhibition in Shanghai (find FLAT in Hall N4, Booth D06 and Interbuild in Hall N3, Booth H06) during September. They are the first tables of their kind with FLAT technology inside to be made from solid oak and be designed for both commercial and domestic markets.

Manufactured in China from wood sourced from sustainable sources, the Jazz and Blues tables come complete with oak table tops either round or square in a number of dimensions and are finished with Interbuild's HardWax oil protecting the wood. The tables can be custom manufactured for retailers looking for different finishes and further designs are planned.

Aside from the Scandinavian design providing the tables’ striking good looks, the Jazz and Blues offer value beyond any other conventional dining tables. Underneath the table, perfectly integrated, owners of a Jazz or Blues table will find FLAT’s ‘PAD’ technology. This hydraulic technology is activated automatically by the pressure of the table pressing down on the feet. The feet act as pumps and are connected by green tubing that contains hydraulic fluid. This fluid is distributed instantly between the feet (which automatically adjust when the pressure increases or decreases) whenever the table is moved and then automatically locks in place, keep the table stable. This same technology also allows users to align adjoining table tops, ideal for family or group gatherings when multiple tables are brought together and a seamless surface is required.

Interbuild is the 2nd company to successfully integrate FLAT’s technology into their wooden table bases in 12 months, following the successful collaboration between FLAT and Carlick Contract Furniture in the UK.
The Jazz and Blues tables will be available to buy from Interbuild’s partner resellers worldwide from September 2016 and complement their wide range of furniture and work tops.
